About Buying a Bike

Not a tough process. You will need to complete the sizing form so that your new Bike Friday will fit you exactly. Then there is selecting the model that is right for your cycling purposes.

After that we will discuss with you what range of components, the type of gearing you want, colour and accessories, handlebar style, derailleur range, brakes, headset, and bottom bracket. Each bike comes with a recommended range of components if you are a bit overwhelmed with too many choices, and we can help you with any questions you have.

Then all you do is tell us when you want it, we schedule production (the queue is only long at certain times of year, the popular Northern Hemisphere times), and it is made and shipped.

Payment is at time of ordering. Delivery is when you are told it will be at the time you order it – it can be delivered to your door or to Friday FreNZy if you would like help the first time you set it up – we can go over that with you right here, or the comprehensive illustrated manual provided with you bike can guide you through it.
